“Don’t miss the aquarium”
Gumbo Limbo is a good way to see nature in Florida with plants, animals and an amazing aquarium built by the company that does the TV program “Tanked”. In addition they maintain a turtle hospital and various open tanks with a variety of sea life that use water syphoned from the ocean and circulated back into the intracoastal waterway.
Sandy J says about Gumbo Limbo Environmental Complex:
“Great place to see sea turtles! ”
I couldn’t sign up in time for the observance of sea turtles on the beach but this is good enough. It’s a suggested 5$ donation but you get to see these turtles! So they have areas where it’s like sea turtle NICU. FAU has a lab here that takes care of these small hatchlings when they get lost at sea.

“Wonderful Fun!”
Be sure to visit the sea turtle rehabilitation — it is first class! From little hatchlings to full-grown adults recovery from injuries and disease this is a educational environment. Additionally, there are habitats and aquariums exhibiting other marine and local wildlife.
